Our History Nearly 60 Years of American PCB Manufacturing

Standard Printed Circuits (SPC) has been manufacturing printed circuit boards in the United States since 1967, building a reputation for technical expertise, quality, and reliable domestic manufacturing.

1967 - Where It Started

SPC was founded in Commack, Long Island, New York, by Charles and Stephanie Anderson and John Martin.

The founders were already involved in manufacturing components for leading electronics and defense companies. As printed circuit boards became increasingly important, SPC was created to serve this growing market.

1970s - Moving to Sherburne

Approximately three years later, SPC relocated to Sherburne, New York, where it has manufactured printed circuit boards for more than five decades.

From its Central New York facility, SPC developed into a specialized PCB manufacturer supporting customers throughout the United States.

1980s - Building Advanced PCB Capabilities

As PCB technology evolved, SPC continued investing in the equipment, processes, and people needed to manufacture increasingly complex products.

By the late 1980s, SPC had developed significant expertise in RF and microwave printed circuit boards, later expanding into advanced constructions utilizing PTFE, polyimide, ceramics, mixed dielectrics, and other high-performance materials.

Today, SPC specializes in high-mix, lower-volume and time-sensitive PCB manufacturing for demanding applications across aerospace, defense, RF & microwave, telecommunications, industrial, medical, and other high-technology markets.

2026 - Joining Epec Engineered Technologies

In 2026, Standard Printed Circuits became part of Epec Engineered Technologies, beginning the next chapter in the company's history.

Founded in 1952, Epec brings more than 75 years of electronics industry experience and additional engineering, technology, quality, sales, and manufacturing resources.

The combination strengthens Epec's domestic PCB manufacturing footprint while providing SPC with additional resources to support future technology and growth.

Built on Experience. Focused on the Future.

From Commack to Sherburne, and from conventional circuit boards to advanced RF, microwave, and high-reliability PCB technology, SPC has continued to evolve with the electronics industry.

Today, nearly 60 years of SPC manufacturing experience is combined with the capabilities and resources of Epec Engineered Technologies, creating a stronger platform for the next generation of American PCB manufacturing.
